The Mosquitoes from Mars Matrix due to their evolutions following each level up.
Rynex and the RVR-01 both have a great aggressive design.

In verticals - Omega Fighter Special:
In horizontals, I guess Vic Viper takes the cake. Also, I like the looks of ships from Thunder Force series better than the gameplay.

For me, Silver Hawk has a outstanding design and really seems like a Hawk.
It´s my favorite.

The boat from Ninja Emaki of course.
Close second to maybe the biplane from Flying Shark / Sky Shark.

Xexex vessel is kind of neat, but most of the spotlight goes for the Flint.
And idem on the Silver Hawk.

Probably the Silver Hawk.
Here's another image, since we can't get enough.
I also have a lot of love for the Rynex.

- Black Heart (because of the sweeping vulcan, perhaps)
- Glow Squid (because of the crazy detachable cockpit and the mechanical arms)
that's all I can remember now.

The Silver Hawk circa Darius Gaiden. The Burst incarnation has a slightly reshaped nose that I don't like nearly as much.
The P-38 and FW-190. In any game. These are my favorite fighters of WWII, so getting to actually use them in Strikers 1945 or other games always makes me happy.
The R-Gray from Ray Force.
I really like the flying mushroom better known as the Silvergun as well.

It's the original Xbox pad. Time travel, don't you know.

That's Rynex-R, not the original Fire Leo 4.
The upgraded original Rynex (Thunder Sword) is a good looking ship.
It looks best during the intro and ending sequences I would say.

The undulating fish thng from Bio Hazard Battle is awesome, but if that doesn't count: Vic Viper and a bunch of the R-Type ships. Flying pancake is damn rad too.

This reminded me of the ship from the Darwin series (Super Real Darwin, Darwin 4078, Darwin 4081). That was a cool concept.
