No Shooters on PS3!

Oh yeah, one has Cave games on it's video gaming console.

Basically that's it. Waving flags for MS or Sony isn't worth it, just follow the games. Both have similar shitty practices. I don't know how people can hate MS (assumedly for non-gaming reasons) yet love sony (a company who felt the need to "stealth" install draconia DRM software on peoples computers illegally and were completely unrepentant when caught)

So at the end of the day, at least one of the machines has Cave games. And it's the games that it's all about.

On a side note I noticed that deathsmiles, esgaluda 2 and futari have 'only on xbox 360' stamped on the front... These were the cave releases.

The 5pb releases did not have this on the front [doj BL and Ketsui (the latest release)].

It's shallow, but could suggest something of a deal between MS and cave, which didn't extend to their partners?

... Although esp 2 is now also on iphone, except 360 mode ofc ... urgh ... I wonder if there's some console clause ... guessing hurts my head - someone quiz MS for me And yes raidens, shiki and shooting love - fine bonuses to the 360 system.

Ahh well. Looks like I will be slapping the cash down for a J360 then cos ultimately I WILL go where the games are. Any pointers on what model I should be looking at or does it not matter? I'm stuck in a PAL region and will not be buying any local software.

PS Iv'e avoided buying one of these things until now because yes, I am biased towards Sony and when you consider how many 360 machines my early adopter friends have gone through due to the RROD phenomenon my hesitation appears vindicated!

A 360 Slim would mean you're 100% certain on getting the newest, most reliable hardware revision.

The 360 is really kind of the Cave machine though, with 6 games out already, and Guwange coming to XBLA very soon. It's nuts! DFK is probably around the corner also.

I hope we can see at least Thunder Force VII on the PS3, because how good is a new console without shmups?

Thunder Force VII would be beyond cool, but it looks like even SEGA are leaning towards XBox at the mo.
