I am absolutely hopeless at this game. Within 30 seconds the levels are so congested with enemies there is nowhere to hide. The main character is very erratic in its control.. Its like trying to control a house fly through a congested room of house fly swatters.
I don't know, perhaps the settings dip is on hard, but to me I've never seen anything so unfair in my life. Its just not fun. So I'd like to compare what i'm seeing on my screen with what your seeing on yours. I can't find any vids on it at all.
Thanks.
Richie.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

I never got all that good at it but you really have to get used to the gliding mechanic and learn to control your jumps. Once you do that, it's a lot of trial and error to find good paths through the levels.
Feedback will set you free.

Perhaps, most games i've played level 1 starts at a relaxed setting so that you have ample time to negotiate the terrain and learn what your doing. In BT it just doesn't allow for anything. If I try to get the bombs in order there are approx 20+ villains on the screen.. normally all crowded between me and the last 2 bombs. Without a P I have to die.

Stick with it. There's a pretty steep learning curve to it, but once it clicks, it's super fun.

Agree Bomjack Twin is frustratingly difficult from the very start (a hallmark of NMK games), making average gameplay time in the single digit minutes. This is NOT a casual platform/puzzle game! You can probably learn it better by playing the original Bombjack first, which is much easier.
As already mentioned, stick with it and master the floating mechanism. You'll see that enemy movements, and release of P icons, are largely the same if you take the same path every time, collecting bombs in a certain order. Soon you'll have a pattern and know exactly where you want to be to get the next P icon and clear the board of both enemy and remaining bombs. Like a Cave game, advanced players find the pattern that allows you to chain your bomb collection (in order of which bombs are blinking) to increase your multiplier and bonuses, leading to more extends, but is something you probably shouldn't be focused on when first learning the game.
As for watching a good run, check the marp page for bjwin and download the 2.4M replay using wolfmame101. He clears the first few levels with a perfect (full chains), and gets up to level 10-2.
There is also an 8M replay on MARP that I would kill to see, but requires a very old version of the rom which was only available up to mame 0.56 or 0.57. If someone with the Mame Rollback CDs has this old version rom, please PM me!
