What's a Taito Egret worth

Post by Dewclaw »

Hey guys, another question here. I've been talking back and forth with this cat on neogeo.com about a cab, and he says he wants to sell his Taito Egret. I made an offer and he accepted it without question...I think it was a fair offer, but does anyone know what they generally go for? It was in good shape with only some scuffing on the bottom panel. Oh, and I offered $450 for it.

Does nobody have any idea? I know a price guide for cabs is hard to do, but hopefully someone around here has an Egret and can divulge what they paid for it.

Did you also check out the monitor? I think they generally go for $400 or so.

Hm...so I went over on my offer. I guess I thought cabs were worth a little more. Thanks guys! The real killer here is gonna be shipping. :x

Oh, and the monitor looks good to me. Not counting the scuffs on the bottom it looks excellent.

I paid around 400+ shipping for mine- the monitor was great but the cab was pretty beat up.

It's a beautiful model

If you want an Egret, you better take it.. they don't come around too often.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Sure seems that way. Hopefully it works out for me though, the guy hasn't contacted me in about 3 days so he might have decided not to sell. I hate it when people keep backing out of sales without telling me first. Better wait a few more days and check in with the guy.

I second that. It is not seen too much in the past year. Now if only someone would bring in some Egret II's!

Hope the deal pans out for you, Dewclaw.
