Capcom VS SNK 2

Post by LoneSage »

Finally, I'll be able to play CVS2 cos I just bought it for $20. weird how it's hard to find in the wild and you see it go for cheap on teh bay.

I've seen some screens of the game, backgrounds look like shit with the polygons..just doesn't mesh with the character sprites well.

Can't wait to play her.

I love Capcom vs SNK 2 but hate how shit I am at it. I used to think my fighting skills were ok, then I took it on XBOX live. I've never won a single round

I'm just dumfounded at what you need to do for the super moves on some of the characters.

One of my favourite Gamecube games, GC-ISM is so broken... though that's probably the same with the other consoles.

Pretty nifty fighter, the different "grooves" are really neat to tinker with. But yeah, those old sprites look awful, though the newer ones aren't bad. And if you want to escape "GC-ism" or whatever, grab the DC version, IIRC it doesn't have anything like that in it.

I thought he was making reference like a captain does with a boat/ship in calling it "she/her" Anywho, the DC version of CvS2 is the best imo, seems to run the smoothest and look the best.

Yeah, DC version is excellent and plays like a champ with the arcade stick. Much better than the first CvS, in my opinion. The custom -ism unlock seems to balance the game in favor of a certain few characters, though. ::shrug::
