Astro city coin mech adjustments

Post by neorichieb1971 »

Only one in five coins puts a credit up. There are lots of adjustment points in that area but what one is the most likely to affect the coins passage to the coin box?

Its a combination of adjustment points, not just one of them thats causing your problem. Start with the last most one and work your way up slowly adjusting each, and watching how each affects the coin direction.

Well, the reason I couldn't fix it is because the screw with the magnet is seized. Either that or its a case of the screwdriver that fits is too small to grip with the amount of force I need. If I use a bigger screwdriver it just doesn't fit. I got a bit of that cloth/foamy stuff and stuck it between the magnet points, the coins drop correctly now.
