I wonder if Miura will add moe elements to Berserk when (or rather, if) he finally starts working on it again.

Are you implying he hasn't?

As a fan of both Berserk and Idolmaster, I feel so conflicted about this...

Re: Idolmaster 2 Gets Announced Oh Noes!
There's an Inside Xbox Special available on the Japanese 360 marketplace now, where Rolling Uchizawa and Hikari visit GamiP at Namco Bandai's HQ. He said something about it being exclusive to Microsoft just like the original game, but that obviously didn't stop them from releasing them on the PSP and DS. I wonder how much Microsoft of Japan is paying them?
I mean, they would obviously profit heavily from releasing it on the PS3 as well, and this was practically selling the 360 in Japan for a long time. Either he doesn't want to ruffle the fanbase, or Microsoft's involved.

Maybe if there's no trap character this time...

Honestly, I don't think it would sell that much more if it were on the PS3. Most of the game's fanbase is already on the 360, and porting the game's engine to PS3 would take time and money. Namco Bandai probably feels that it just isn't worth the trouble for the possibly small profit. Just look at the sales of the PS3 remake of White Album, which weren't very impressive considering the size of the PS3's userbase (could have easily sold just as much if it were a 360 exclusive imho). I know they're not the same kind of games, but I think there's enough overlap between the fanbases to use it as a comparison.Elixir wrote:There's an Inside Xbox Special available on the Japanese 360 marketplace now, where Rolling Uchizawa and Hikari visit GamiP at Namco Bandai's HQ. I'm almost certain MS paid Namco Bandai for an exclusive port of the first game. However, I'm no so sure they paid for the sequel as well, but it wouldn't surprise me. It would certainly make another 360 exclusive iM@S a far more attractive decision.
Namco Bandai doesn't hate money, so I'm sure there will be one. If not included in the main game, then as DLC.Ed Oscuro wrote:Maybe if there's no trap character this time...
