I am thinking about getting one of these but I am pretty sure I can't afford the BL.
I was wondering if any folks have played both and could comment on the two against the each other.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I'd be interested in some opinions as well. While I "like" 1.5, it certainly isn't love at first sight. Now I really dig that new BL soundtrack and the new (insert red kanji)-mode seems pretty interesting. I just have no idea what's going on

I'm probably the only person that thinks BL looks too cluttered and hates the soundtrack.

But with 1.5, it took me some time to love it.

I don't really like DFK 1.5 so BL is my only hope to find true love in the end of the DDP series. There's no way it's better than DOJ BL though...

I haven't played BL so can't comment on it but I really love 1.5! It's the most insane psychedelic shooter I've played. Haven't taken it out of my New Astro City cab for months

I love BL, 1.5 seems so boring after playing it. Going into Red Zone and surviving crazy-ass patterns while keeping your chain up is such a rush! I guess there are some things that some people may prefer in 1.5, but I'd def go for BL if I had to choose.
