Does anyone know of a good source for ordering these? I totally want this Ketsui repaint and maybe a couple others....

Are RC Berg's models pre-painted and assembled, or are they just kits you have to do yourself? If they're already painted/assembled I'd love to buy the Casper figure.

the hardest video game boss ever comment.

Cool looking models, but I wouldn't spend $150+ on a single model.

Those asking prices are peanuts compared to ponying up for some of those limited edtion garage kits of the Five Star Stories mecha.

Would be cool to see transformable Ka-1/Ka-2 fightercraft model kits from the Mars Matrix shmup title.

14,700 yen = $167

I would pay that much for a Mars Matrix Mosquito 2!

I was planning to snag a Tiger Schwert for myself and a Type B for a DOJ-enthusiast friend... but guess I'll desist :(
Dammit.

That's the nature of garage kits unfortunately. Usually event only and expensive. Always a chance E2046 or Hobbyfan might offer recasts.

True, true. Have a few Bandai kits myself and all of them are quite pricey, got them as a "personal gift" from my journalist days. Hopefully they DO recast them, they're gorgeous.

I hate to be so negative but every time i see one of the Ketsui helicopters I think to myself how goddamn ridiculous they look. It's like somebody tacked some helicopter blades to a jet.

Pic^^^ +1

Playing the games I really like the DDP type B and ketsui ships, even if they do look abit unrealistic as a model. Maybe tilting blades would be more realistic? like those on that newfangled US army transport plane.

I had the EXACT same thought when I first played Ketsui. They are completely impractical as real helicopters. :-P Damn good game though...

I thought the same and that it'd be cooler if they were just jets, however, I noticed in one of the levels you fly backwards, and you need a helicopter for such feats :awe:

I thought they were just VTOL, didn't realise they could fly backwards.
