want sketch nation like program for my computer

I've got sketch nation for my iphone and have tons of fun with it. I've tried a little bit to use game maker and given up, and havn't dared to try anything else. Is there anything as limited (accessible and easy) as sketch nation for the computer, that could be used to make flash games or easy windows I could throw on a web page?
