You're in Quebec, you should know not to expect it today. Unless shipments go out really early there's always a day or two delay. Namely because of increased distance and because all the items have to clear through customs.

If I'm lucky amazon will ship mine tomorrow.

Gamestop sent me an e-mail this morning saying mine had shipped yesterday.

I'm not trying to stir shit up, but I have the day off and I drove around town this morning for grins. It looks like only the folks pre-orderered will have a chance to pick this up. Sad. Gamestop doesn't have it and won't be getting it due to it being a "limited edition." Our other large retailer (Hastings) doesn't have it either. Raiden IV and Fighters were at least somewhat available.

I know this may not be representative of the wider release. I'm just curious if anyone will see this for sale in the wild.

I actually pre-ordered several copies at my local gamestop so they would have extra in stock. If anyone on the board has too much trouble finding it, let me know, and I can see what I can do about picking up a copy for them and shipping it to them.

I just picked up my pre-order at GameStop. I saw like 12 other boxes that other people reserved at the Rosedale Commons GameStop in Minnesota, USA. Awesome! I'm about to try it out.

Okay everyone, I just tested out the copy I picked up and it's official - the US release of DeathSmiles will NOT work on a Japanese console. Its name actually displays as "DeathSmiles NA" when you put it in the disc drive.

Will probably post some impressions later on after giving it a go on my US 360.

Anyway I've been playing this for a few hours and at the moment I'm #1 on the leaderboards(X360 version) with a lousy 30 millionish(which especially sucks cause I already got a 60 million+ and 1CC with Rosa that I can't upload cause I didn't play score-attack). I expect this to change before long so I took a cellphone pic.

Also for the achievement whores I do believe this game uses a new set of achievements for veterans who want an extra 1,000 GP. Though for whatever reason since the MBL dlc is already rolled in there's no extra 250 to collect. Eh well can't complain too much considering the value.

Picked up my copy at around Noon today from the Southland Mall Gamestop in Taylor, MI. I preordered it because I didn't expect them to get any copies otherwise, and judging from the size of the shipping box, there couldn't have been more than one other copy in there.

I've been at work since then, though. Can't wait to get home tonight to give the game a go!

I don't really mind them not having it today (or tomorrow for that matter), but what pisses me off is that they may end up not getting it at all. It happened with Blazblue last year. The problem? The box has to be translated to French or else they can't sell it. It's not like this is the first time this happens to me, but hey. I also wanted to pick up a copy of The White Ribbon at my local Futureshop on my way there and they didn't get the movie today for pretty much the same reason. Anyways!

Got mine from Gamestop, and they had about six extra copies that had all been pre-ordered as well as a few they had already sold. Apparently, Gainesville, FL actually has stg players? Wish they'd show themselves! Lol

I'm really loving the faceplate. The box is much smaller than I expected as well, so that's a good thing.
