Is it hard to find people that can fix Saturn's and PS2's lasers when they croak?

Saturn it literally just 5 screws, PS2 is a little more, but it's straightforward.

No worries Ash, you can't do much wrong as long as you remember the default position of the pots. (and don't rip that fan cable apart :mrgreen: )
