Why would this get locked?

And yes, it definitely looks like some weird circuit bent console or some type of video synthesizer- like this...

I generally have no issues with that kind of aesthetic -- but that game looks wrong.

I'd rather play this than fight that homo rapper T-rex in Futari.

I actually really like the music too.

Sounds like somebody dies on the first stage of Futari too much.

Not really, but playing Futari makes me want to die. This game is actually halfway pleasing aesthetically, which I can't say for Futari's limp wrist T-rex.

This is a good example of why I hate the whole 'indie games' scene. You take what could be a neat concept (randomly spawning enemies with an interesting indicator of where or how they're going to appear next) and then you ruin it by either
A) slathering it in some sort of arbitrary, headache-inducing, and downright fucking godawful design aesthetic because it's like, art, man.
OR
B) inflating it with a pretentious storyline and/or statement of intent that's equal parts smirking hipster irony and liberal arts college sophomore creative writing class (Braid) because it's like, art, man.

And then kick back while legions of sycophantic followers suck you off for being such a goddamned genius.

It could even be somebody's great practical joke designed to get people like me all riled up about it, but really--how would you even know?

The awkward aiming is the main thing I don't like.
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.

Based on the screenshots alone, I'm gonna skip this.

Instead I'll be looping this for fifty hours.

Most indie games don't do any of the things you mentioned. Just because some do is no reason to write off all of them.

You don't need to make anything remotely artistic for gamers to line up wanting to suck your D.

it tried to do the chaotic, abstract, expressionism-like thing that people don't always like, except it failed so hard in the design, art and interaction bits, it didn't even do it correctly.
