This is a non-issue, but it looks like they've decided to go with one L in the title. The first time I saw the old cover art I thought it was a typo, especially since Amazon spelled it with two, but if they changed the cover and it's still there it's probably intentional.

I don't see a release date on the UFO page though. Amazon says April now. :(

I didn't play Radirgy enough to comment on the difficulty, but it's noticeably harder than Karous. Then again, I'm not attempting to time out the bosses. The multiplier is only raised by clearing special "stages" through out each normal stage. This aspect, I quite like. It makes the game, actually.

I'm now wondering if this is ever going to come out in the US. I don't really care because I already have a Japanese copy, but now I've seen release dates of Feb 10th and Feb 17th, yet no stores even have the game listed in their inventory systems. Why do these US releases always end up being a damn joke.

I'm sure this will come out.
UFO delayed the crap out of Ultimate Shooting Collection too. Or rather, they've never given out an exact release date so it's never officially delayed.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Ah well, more delays -_-

Gotta wonder if the game is actually finished and they're waiting for a specific timeframe to release it or something

Less than a month to go.

I'm assuming we'll see a delay any day now?

I agree that UFO Interactive is absolutely abysmal with release dates. Stop teasing the customers and give solid release dates or give us nothing.

Okay, so the main site says nothing, Amazon says July, and Gamestop...says it's out already. The heck is going on?

My amazon pre-order says its July. I think gamestop is wrong. Gotta love UFO for brining me R4 and USC but this is getting frustrating. I preordered it in SEP for an OCT release.

At this point, I'll be pleasantly surprised (and shocked) when it does finally come out.

So it's been delayed AGAIN? Is the next release date going to be "When it's done"? (Apparently, that game might actually be coming out soon).

Apparently the game has been canceled. This makes me very angry, and I would really like to know WHY they canceled it. This was a summer title I was really looking forward to. Interesting how UFO still has the trailer up on their website.
I don't suppose there's any hope that Radirgy Noah is going to get localized either now?

Time to import, I guess. :(

Even though it was nice to see it getting localized, considering it was UFO doing it, you should just have imported like.... a year ago :?

It's definitely gone from their Wii and Coming Soon sections. Disappointing, if not exactly a major surprise given that exactly the same thing happened with Radio Allergy, although that game was coming out for a dead platform. Kind of a shame if they canned Illvelo for the same reason that Radirgy got the bullet (lack of interest/sales potential) - it would be interesting to find out why they pulled the plug.

Am I the only one who finds the Arrange mode that's included with the Wii version of Radirgy Noa way better than the original Illvelo? I played for a few hours the other day, which is usually way longer than I can tolerate the original Illvelo. It seems more fast paced, the mini stages you go through are a lot more fun and not nearly as ridiculous, and if I remember correctly, the shot types you get are much more useful than in the original game.

Therein may lie the reason Illvelo was canceled by UFO.
The translation may turn up on a multigame package at a later date, just like was done with Radio Allergy.

If they're just pulling that same stunt again, why would they have bothered announcing Illvelo as an individual game in the first place? At least with Radirgy it was the first time they'd encountered such a situation, by now you'd think they'd know better.

The aborted US release of Radirgy GeneriC was handled by O3 Entertainment, not UFO.

*smacks self*

Weird that almost the exact same thing would happen to 2 different companies, though.
