There's been one keeps going unsold on eBay UK at £49 + £14 postage, which does feel a fair bit to expensive, but I don't honestly know the game's worth.

I never spotted that one on here jonny5 - I would of snaffled that one up!

Now jonny5 got in there first, so I don't want to intrude, but if that doesn't happen I'd be very keen to buy your drift out board bloodflowers.

On the subject of isometric/joystick racers, Overtop just doesn't do it for me, even though I appreciate it's well loved. Drift Out certainly is my favourite on MVS, and Thrash Rally is the most lacking.

go for it spadgy....im broke for the moment, and the shipping(and customs) from the UK might be a deterrent for me as well....perfect for you though :D get in there...but make sure to make a post or shoot me a PM with your feedback on the game :)

and thanx for the feedback on the other neo racers....so do you think thrash rally is even worth picking up?

i know i can try them in mame(in the cab even) but meh....not the same  i like getting feedback from others who enjoy the games

So Jonny 5, World Rally is indeed a joystick racer? World Rally 2 as well? Hmmmm, I might have to pick those up and Great 1,000 Mile Rally 1 and 2 then. I think the local import shop might have World Rally now that I think of it.

yup...both are playable with a 2way joystick and buttons or you can set in the dips to use wheel and pedal...both boards have a connector onboard to hook them up...not sure if its a standard or something, but the pinout is available i believe

if you have a chance to get either, i say got for it!!! :D

i got world rally for like $50 and great 1000 mile rally for like $30.....well worth it

Oh wow - no way I'd sell mine for that little, not worth it. It's not a common game, £50 is pretty cheap IMO. Postage is overpriced though.

It was the postage that put me off it. I realise now that it was actually £59 the previous two times it was up from the seller, and that was the price that had made me edge away from buying. I only realised it was £50 when I checked the sale for my previous post, and giving it some thoughts based on your comments, perhaps that is fair. Looks like the one sold here for $50 last week was a super-good deal. Maybe I should consider that one on eBay if it's there in a week.

EDIT: Oops! I forgot to respond to this (just continuing my quest to upset jonny5! )

Thrash Rally's just a bit cheap feeling. None of the finesse or fun of Neo Drift Out for me. It just feels a little uninspired in it's design, but I do like the OST quite a bit. It's by no means awful though - if you see one cheap snap it up.

It gets even better - having a working one helped diagnose a dead VT I've had for months, it was so fucked I'd actually put it in the box for parts boards, but it's 100% now so I have two :)

Working but I couldn't be bothered to rotate my cab - everythings a bit messy right now with one cab being restored in the hallway and another waiting to sell.

That would be the Aero Fighters 3 (aka Sonic Wings 3 in Japan) MVS cartridge, right spadgy? AF-3's opening intro is cool to watch unfold. Let's not forget the last one in the Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings arcade shmup series that is the Sonic Wings Special PCB variant as well.

Oh wow, a pachislo. Very nice find there, robivy64. Does it dispense coins if you line up all three symbol (like on a traditional one-armed bandit slot setup)?

In contrast, I just bagged a US Donpachi, which I'm itching to play...
