He's was terminal for like a year. Not a shocker.

I saw Blue Velvet last month. Not as great as I was expecting but Dennis's performance was great.

RIP :( It's probably a matter of time before we lose Jack Nicholson & Clint Eastwood.

Dennis was great in Speed. Howard Payne was one utterly ruthless SOB - if he's not the best villain ever, he has to be in the top 25.

Security guard: "Nobody called it down to me. I'm going to have to see a work order."
Howard Payne: "Yeah. There you are." - before stabbing the guard in the ear with a screwdriver. OW!

Truly a legendary actor, one of the best in the business, actors today should take a cue from Dennis Hopper on how to act, and how to be a great screen villain.
