No More Heroes : PS3 vs 360

Post by Strider77 »

I was just wondering if anyone on here got NMH on PS3? I have the 360 version but the loading and freezing issues are horrid. Was wondering if the PS3 version is better in these regards.... I know of the editing all ready.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I don't have the PS3 version but I will say I was about ready to windmill dunk my 360 into the trash can the other day because the loading is so bad on No More Heroes. Instead, I turned my 360 off and placed No More Heroes in the ever growing pile of games I'll likely never play again. The loading pretty much ruins an otherwise enjoyable experience.

There was a comparison video floating around a few weeks ago, showing the PS3 version being slightly better with shorter loading times. They scheduled a patch to be released in May, which has been released and managed to fix a few issues, like falling through the floor, retarded AI, and the game crashing during loading. It didn't even touch the loading times.

I really want to play through this game, but feel+'s port is terrible on a scale of 5pb. proportions. According to the Japanese achievement wiki, it runs the fastest if you're loading it via a USB memory stick for 360. But no, it wasn't worth buying once, it definitely isn't worth buying twice.
