RSG does run in MAME but at least my MacBook doesn't like it when big bosses full of polygons show up. Really starts to lag. Could be my computer, as its only the areas full of 3D models and the mostly sprite-based Souky doesn't have much problem at all. Does it run better on Windows machines?
What MAME version are you using? 0.128 works best for RSG. I mention this constantly, but it's true. A few graphics glitches [some minor, some major but disappear asap/don't hinder the game], but it's a lot faster than .129 and up.

Also, I'd be amazed to finally see the security on Raiden II finally broken.[/quote]

I'm using .124. I'll give it a try, thanks for the tip!

We're still working on getting our domain up, but the Domain Name people austere bought it from are taking forever. So until that's up, use this temporary link for our Blog :) http://blea.ch/~r2proj/
Have fun :)

I wonder how Seibu Kaihatsu will react if you guys are successful.

Unfortunately, Seibu is practically dead. If you look at their site even, it looks late 90s/early 00s.
They're still together I think, but they don't do anything, they just license out their IP for people to make the games (Raiden IV was an example of this, I think Raiden III was as well)
On the other hand, they might C&D the site just for the domain-name, in which case we have ideas for more agreeable domain-names :)
Basically, they can't or won't really do anything.

You all realize MOSS was created as a fall-back studio for Seibu Kaihatsu employees right? The company known as Seibu Kaihatsu exists in name only now (reservoir for IPs for MOSS to use), but MOSS is full of its employees.
Of course, that's just an opinion.
