I guess I'll say it, since no one else has so far:
the Japanese are secretly robots.
that's how they get their high scores.

I know that your comment was probably meant to be ironic/funny, but actually a lot of people seriously think such stuff and I'm quite sick of reading it.
Some japanese people just have an extraordinary dedication. This should nothing but motivate us since we know that it's possible in theory AND praxis. Stop being lazy and get 60mill in Donpachi, every one of you!

Re: mission impossible: the 65m donpachi video
you would think if these people are smart they would get a dvd deal with INH or the like to get these videos released properly. i can understand not releasing these for free on the internet, but not releasing them at all seems daft.
Re: mission impossible: the 65m donpachi video
They obviously don't want anyone copying their techniques.
It's very common in high level gaming (not just shmups) where the top players will hide their techniques/top scores in order to hang onto that #1 position.
Only way to get in is to befriend the players themselves. Nothing else you can do about it basically.

Yeah, same old, still impressive. Then there's the listing Loop 3 in Tatsujin Oh by WTN, now that's up there.zlk wrote:・首領蜂(Type-C 6000万OVER、2-5キャパシティーボーナス有)/BGR-44
BGR-44 has a new entry on his site too, something coming up regarding then 2.0 billion DOJ DVD?

Re: mission impossible: the 65m donpachi video
WTN in these months (from last year) have performed a best run in tatsujin Ou, with 10.000.000 archivied in 40 stage. A part of this run is on DVD (a part and not all because 40 stages in this game are about 6/7 hours play)

Insane... but i can understand him
Well, there is(was?) Chun Li SF4 player Nemo - before SBO he said "after i win, i will post all my secrets!". Well... he posted some (maybe even all), and in few days he deleted everything.
Even worse shit wtih TKD - best SF4 El Fuerte. Everything is SECRET.

Koream 38m donpachi highlight video: http://video.nate.com/203850888
Anyone fluent in korean want to try to hunt down more information? If no one in Japan will publicly release a video, perhaps Korea is our only hope.
