Modding Deathsmiles Stick.

Post by Phellan Wolf »

Hi everyone I have purchased the Deathsmiles stick for the Xbox 360 and I am planning on modding it. I want to change the stick and buttons, but I am not sure wich ones to take. I know that they will be seimitsu for sure but don't know wich are the ones that fits the better. As for the stick himself I don't know if it is a good idea to leave the default JLF-TM-8T-SK-K or to change it for another one. Also I am planning to add a square restrictor gate.
The use for the stick is goping to play shooting games so I hope to hear your recommendations. Thanks.

This is the same as the HRAP EX 360 Stick right ?

If you dont mind soldering i would change that stick out for a LS-32 , as its not common ground you will have to solder all the ground tags on the new stick

Buttons , ive always like the PS-14-KN's . purple should look nice in that stick

Also think you need an SS plate , i know when i modded my old HRAP1 i had to mount the plate differently and use different screw points , The screws were so corse they actual cut the thread in the new placment holes for me :P so i didnt have to use a tap and die kit ... Lovely

Thanks for the info. You are right I will have to open it to see if I will have to sold, something that puts me off since I am a bit dull with those things and I thought at first that it had quick disconnection switches just like the Tournament Stick from Madcatz.
I will put some pictures soon.

Buttons will be Quick Disconnect's , i think the stick will be soldered and non common ground (every button and direction has its own ground)

There is and easier way to do it , just cut the wires from the stick , trim back the wire and use some female spades on the LS-32 if you dont like soldering
