lately I've been getting games for the Neo-Geo in mame, and only so far have drift out 94 and overtop as far as racers go. are they any others worth getting?

There is the Thrash Rally MVS cart from developer Alpha Denshi along with SNK's Riding Hero MVS motorcycle racing game/RPG hybrid.

Drift Out 94 isn't Neo IIRC.

Get a friend and Micro Machines.

This is true. There are precisely four Neo Geo racers: Riding Hero, Thrash Rally, Over Top and Neo Drift Out. And that's them listed from worst to best.

Yup, I liked overtop more than driftout though, but both are awesome.

Good to see the last game by ADK appreciated. Shame that Over Top didn't make it to the ADK Tamashii compilation (decent in its own upscaled, interlaced, filtered way, except for Twinkle Star Sprites of course).
The rear gate is closed down

There was a Hyper 64 racer, too... but that's probably not the Neo system you are interested in.
