My hair used to be about halfway down my back when it was at its longest. But I cut it to shoulder-length because it's rather difficult to manage (as you've noticed), especially at that length.

My dad used to be able to tuck his hair into his belt.

I'm 99.9% certain you're referring to the anime adaptation, which did indeed suck (as does most anime based on a H game).

However, the games most certainly do not suck.
I didn't even know it was based on a game 'til you posted a picture actually. :P

As far as Jun goes, s/he was the only interesting character, though.

Yeah, Jun was the only reason I watched it. But even so, it was difficult for me to watch. Not just because of the overall lack of quality, but also because they changed/ruined some important aspects of Jun's character.

Ha ha, song was pretty bad but kind of fun. Reminded me of a mix of Venom and Darkthrone a bit....

It ain't halfway down my back yet, but it's getting there. And yeah, long hair actually takes work to deal with. My bangs and shit are all in my face, I get like mashed potatoes, semen, french fries and shit all caught in it, I fucking reek since my religion forbids shampoo.

As poet says:
Long hair is like autofellatio - more hassle than it's worth.
The rear gate is closed down
The way out is cut off

Also be aware of the possibility of a better sterilization method down the line - a magical serum injected into the vas deferens which rips apart the outer shell of semen with a gentle loving dose of radiation.

While it's only effective ~5 years, the operation involves simply getting stabbed with a syringe, instead of the brutal butchering a vasectomy entails. And it's actually reversible, a simple flush job, unlike the organ mutilations of current permanent sterilization methods.

It can happen man. : <

I used to have hair that could almost reach to my belt. Those were the days. I didn't find having such long hair too annoying; my country never really gets hot enough for my head to overheat, but I always raged when I turned over in the night accidentally lay on my hair, wrenching it from my scalp :x

I got in the habit of flipping my hair up over the pillow to avoid that.

^^I have it pretty much at same length now, some guys in this thread are overexaggerating about it being a hassle to manage IMO. I take at most 2 minutes longer mornings.

Also, thanks for bumping the thread. For a moment there, I thought the thread was going to die.
