Truly a good man, he was responsible for making the anime industry in the US the way it is now. Rest in peace.

Too bad Harmony Gold still won't properly release Macross Frontier series in the USA. Hats off to a man whom gave Robotech a chance in the USA. It's ironic that the Robotech: The Movie (based off of the classic Megazone 23 OAV anime) was cancelled and that Cannon Pictures went belly up trying to get it distributed Stateside.

Would've been interesting to see more episodes of Robotech: The Sentinels anime series beyond the intial three episodes produced by Tatsunoko Studio (as it was called back in the day).

It's interesting to learn that Sacramento, California was one of the few selected cities to broadcast the "Code Name: Robotech" preview episode in it's entirety before airing the first episode of Robotech: Boobytrap back in April of 1985 courtesy of Harmony Gold.
