I rate this 3½ out of 5, easily worth seeing. It was a combination of funny jokes, unfunny jokes and out-of-place violence, that somehow started to piss me off even though I'm usually a sucker for a bit of the old ultra violence. I liked the small-scale first part, but the movie got boring and more serious towards the end when Hit Girl kept beating up people. One thing: The movie seems very conscious of current state of the world and internet, but still Kick-Ass keeps saying that "no-one actually did this before"... but according to the wikipedia there are loads of similar superheroes prancing around: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-life_superhero
Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.

It does bother me that every... single.... movie..... with advertising... is either a remake or an "adaption" of existing IP. If it existed in the past and was successful and didn't have a remake in the last ~ten-fourteen years, they're making a remake of it now - more likely than not.

More in line with the Kick Ass comic:

You might as well read Irredeemable now, or just wait to watch people get melted by eye lasers with less backstory and much less content later. If there's a thread all liek "Irredeemable the movie" eight years from now I'ma gonna kick some asses.

You know what, this is a good time for a preemptive strike.
PSX Vita: Slightly more popular than Color TV-Game system. Almost as successful as the Wii U.

I saw the movie a few days ago. I enjoyed it, though I heard the comic is much better.

Just saw this, pretty good. Really toned down from the comic, which I loved. I think a straight forward adaptation would have been better, movie goers don't need shit watered down.
