Hmmm...you may be right...and one of them is rarely seen outside of Japan...

I also heard that there will be a possible 5th cabinet that is dedicated...

I hope you guys from the outer rim (200+ miles) are going to show up. This thing is going to be epic!

(Well, at least it will show up on drboom's blog! :D )

Heh, if I ever went to Hale's, and had extra cash, I might consider that offer

If szycag and I can drive 500+ miles to a Chicago meet then 200 miles ought to be an easy trip. This will be an awesome meet, don't miss out!

Just kidding there drunkninja. We first got hooked up with Hale's last year. DEFINITELY worth it though. I might be down there on the 24th for their test display show at Buffalo City Park. We're definitely buying through them again this year though.

Lets just fill your basement with cabinets Todd, so we can't even move, hahaha. I'm still waiting to hear back on the 4th one... Hopefully I'll know in the next day or two what the deal is.

Okay, only 2 weeks away!!!

@caldwert - yeah, I think the basement is going to be an obstacle course with the amount of cabs, consoles, and hardkoare gamerz that are planning on being there.

Plug this into your PDA's/smartphones and see how this computes:

3-4 candy cabs
1 dedicated cab (only hint: 1990 shmup)
2 pinball machines
Several consoles
Shmups
1 gunbird18 as your host

Amazing! My iphone locks up everytime!

If you did not get a PM with my address for Mapquest, please let me know.
I will be posting the high score contests in the original post, so keep an eye on that in the next 2 weeks!

Be here!

4 Candy Cab's for sure. 2 vertical, 2 horizontal? or 3 vertical, 1 horizontal? I guess we need to actually kind of plan this out.

See if you can snag a ride with someone. Then again I just thought dr. boom's vehicle will be stuffed I imagine. I was going to say to Megabus it, but I just looked and that's way too much.

Okay,

You guys can go crazy with the consoles. I know we should have a few TVs. The problem is going to be, do we have enough room?

We definitely need a rundown of pcbs again!

gunbird18 now has:

Gunbird
Batrider Ver. B
ESPGaluda
Dodonpachi
?Mystery Shmup?

stuminator:

Strikers series
Dragon Blaze 8)
Gunbird 2
Dangun Feveron 8) 8)

drboom:

Air Gallet 8)
Batsugun
Ketsui
Progear no Arashi
Death Smiles
Sky Shark
Outzone 8)
Garegga
DDP:DOJ
DDP:DFK :D

drunkninja:

Ibara :D

caldwert:

The rest of the shmups!
I think:

Dimahoo
Guwange
Omega Fighter Special
Mahou Daisakusen
Many others too numerous to mention

I will see what I can borrow from brentsg

Try not to make a repeat on the pcbs as this will cut down on your space and also experiencing unintentional board swaps. :(

Let me know if I need to change your list via PM.

Thanks!

Unfortunately for me I don't think I could swing taking the time off from work. I hope everything keeps falling into place for everyone else though, it looks like one of the best arcades in the country is gonna be in that basement for a few days.

Yeah, it is going to be a great display of some of the best shmups evah.

Not quite as awesome as Dave K.'s garage arcade. That will remain one of the best shmup arcades in the West!

Hahahahaha, I was planning on bringing some BULLSHIT like that and then telling everyone how good it was for hours just to see everyone's reactions. I had actually discussed doing that very thing with Twin Eagle this past weekend.

I do however have a mystery game coming in shortly that will be here in time for the meet that I am excited to try out, plus a Seibu oddity with a glitch, but it works and is playable. We will have to suffer a bit to play it, but its definitely playable.

Twin Eagle is hot, bro. I used to play it hellas in the lobby of my brother's dorm back in the 90's. I was too small back then to help them tip over the vending machines.

Yes, just one week away. I guess we need to verify what console games if any will be there? Also, what boards people want to play. I'm open to bringing non-shmup stuff as well if people want to try it out. I guess this would necessitate me posting a list of crap I own: http://www.arcade-museum.com/members/me ... _id=398833 There's a few things not listed on there and listed on there that have gone by by.

Yes, one week.

I now have a few box fans going non stop since we are officially in monsoon season here in Moberly. I knew having this thing in my basement was going to bite me in the ass! Ah well, we will make the best of it, just be aware that there will be a nice "damp" smell down in the game-cave.

I will have a couple of the score contests in the original post, so check it out.

Hope to see all of you here!

Just put a foot of water in each cab and we can pretend we bought our cabinets from Kingsley! So again, what consoles are we counting on? Who is bringing what? I plan on bringing the PCB's I've talked about, maybe a few oddball others, plus the Aero Table, plus anything else.

Szycag has it right; I have almost all the shmups of note (DDPDOJBLE, Ketsui, DeathSmiles, ESPGaluda II, Mushi Futari, Mamoru-kun, Otomedius G, etc.) and I'll be bringing my backup enabled 20gb premium J-360 (which, coincidentally, is for sale). My other 360 (JTAG'ed) will stay home for this one.

Good deal then, I will leave my stuff at home. You have everything I have anyway. Will there be a Duo there or was anyone planning on having one?

What about Dreamcast stuff?
