You should post the score now so we can see how much your score jumps after seeing his strats.
Feedback will set you free.

It would make me very happy to know how to get a higher combo multiplier in stage 4. :)

Near the end after the small sequence where you're transported to another realm you can get the x90 from the bunch of small enemies.

The run have one fuck of a mistake is first section of stage 4, but this don't affect the score so much (I just could not do the last suicide). I will upload the run tomorrow (20 April) in my work.
Well, my part was done, but still need pay the device+cables+adapters. This was around $75 for me. Then what you will gonna do?

It's really worth the effort to dl these mini files and deal with the super low quality. Just watched the vid and I'm blown away.
Some tactics are pure genius! Thank you so much third_strike! Waiting for a better quality replay now to fully enjoy it again. :)

Then the blink is called flickering. Even the original run have this was impossible for me retire this. Indeed it induce headache in me too. Because this I did it only for who is really intersted. Or this or black/white. Let put clear I had not any intention of play this game again I only did because one demand for one replay. But one time I started at play this I put my best efforts for put my best out (I would can recorded any 2,0 Bil and 100% of people still will get satisfaction, and I would have skipped lot of stress).
see:
- Needed buy the device in one place very away from my house.
- Need learn how install this without interference in my play.
- Need learn how encode videos (never did this before and took any time for do).
- Need learnn how broken one archive in several parts for upload it during 2h before of shit people without minimal knowledge about my problems and me started at to think I am holding this back.

Cool!

Wait, so you're never playing this game again even though you're so close to the WR? It's incredible what you've done so far, and I'm sure I speak for many people when I say keep going a little longer and try to break that record! Boa sorte!

He's saying the only reason he bothered improving on his previous score was because we all asked him to make a replay. I'd bet he's well sick of the game by now.

Yes the flickering extremely headache inducing, but I could not do nothing about this.
I'd bet he's well sick of the game by now.
Sick of this game never. I liked do any credit feed runs before return to this. I still can beat this score and this would not be too hard. I can do 90% of destruction rate in stage 4 and can do the second life bar of boss 4 better (I only needed train this boss one bit more, and this is done run by run). I can do the stage 3 better too (x3 - x29 - x41 - 43). Really I did not play too much runs to do this score (70% of time I wasted training).
I would like response any questions and I will do any comments about the run later.

:) Now If you want and can donate any amount of money for me pay the capture device send one PM to user Kollision. I have nightmares when I think about pay this alone. I want only get only my $75 back. Remember this was done to you.
Thanks!

Thank you third_strike !
The video is really amazing !
I am surprised that the strategies I developed (even for stage 4) are not much different from your own ones.
But it's obvious that you are a much better and more experienced player than me.
And I can only get to the TLB with a lot of luck and no lives in stock, while you stay in control throughout the run.
I think with some more practice, it would be no problem for you to break the WR, honestly.
Donation is on its way.

Pretty sick, third_strike. I can only watch a few minutes at a time because of the flicker, but what I've seen so far has been great. Thanks again.

Your score demonstrate this. You can reach the stage 4 boss with 1,7 bil.
But it's obvious that you are a much better and more experienced player than me.
And I can only get to the TLB with a lot of luck and no lives in stock, while you stay in control throughout the run.
Indeed the adrenalin is in my blood and I get very nervous while playing. Some times my heart seem will explode, my hands and foot sweat and my muscles get static and I take precipitate decisions. Well, this seems normal for me since I am not a super man or one shmup god and I am not this too experienced. But even in this conditions I still can comply the mission. Seriously I guess this way is better the heart really get fast, some times I laugh from this situation while playing.
I think with some more practice, it would be no problem for you to break the WR, honestly.
Don't say this things or I get wishful.
It seems you are playing with a stick, not a pad, right ?
Which one do you use ?
Last year I fucked one ps2 dual shock controller while playing Psyvariar 2. Then this was the controller I used I only changed the rubber under the pad (I putted the rubber from one old ps controller). The D pad got very sluggish and strange but since it is sensitive and responsive I could play whit it. Indeed I guess the Dual Shock one shit, This hurts the finger a lot and is horrible for shmups. See I played Shiki2 using the dremcast controler, Shiki1 using the xbox1 controller and this using one dual shock, one new game one new controller lol.

My English is the shit sorry. :)
Cool!

third_strike, you are cooler than you know. Seriously.

And it's not wishful thinking that you could beat the WR! If you really wanted to break the Homura WR, I know you could dedicate yourself to the task and succeed.

Cool!

Woah, too awesome! :o

Has third_strike been paid fully yet? If he hasn't, I can chip in. I feel bad not having chipped in to be honest.

I'm not made of cash in the least, but one time I gave another Brazilian $100 to buy a recording device to record speedruns, and while I don't regret it at all since he's a great guy, I never even really got anything out of it in the end in that case. So this would already be a steal.
