R.I.P. Peter Steele

Post by evil_ash_xero »

Died of heart failure at 48.

I used to listen to Type O Negative tons in the mid to late nineties. This is pretty depressing.

Uh oh, my buddy is probably devastated over this. It is his favorite band, I should give him a call.

Thanks for the warning!

Oh what the fuck? What an unfortunate name for their last album.

Here fades away another part of our youth. At least Danzig is still around.

It happens to people in their teens and twenties too. Live your life to the fullest, I guess.

Even if he hadn't done any drugs, there'd still have been strain on his heart. The guy was 6'7". Apparently he went through a long period of just lying in bed all day swigging bottles of wine, which probably didn't help, either.

Can't say I was ever a fan of his music, died pretty young though.

The dude was a miserable, depressed bastard. It makes perfect sense that he would do that and that he would die young.
Feedback will set you free.

RIP Pete. Favorite band of all time for sure. I got to meet the band after a show during the "life is killing me" tour. One of my favorite memories ever.
