As a designer/developer, I'm always looking around for ways to streamline my workflow, which typically involves amassing tons of both physical and digital research material, bookmarks, brainstorms, sketches, and development work. The problem is that it's a bit of a nuisance constantly lugging around a 17" MBP, a large-format Moleskine, development-size sketchbooks, and textbooks (as I like to read to learn stuff). It's an even bigger headache trying to keep everything synchronised.

However, until everything becomes streamlined, and something like the Microsoft Courier dual-screen tablet concept becomes a reality, I have to stick with the current setup. The iPad looks juicy, but it is far too big to be portable, and other tablets focus on media consumption rather than creation.

So what are you guys currently rocking? I have Things, Evernote and MindNode on OSX on the go, and my Blackberry 9700, but it's always a pain in the ass synching everything together. It'd be nice to find a decent solution that will keep everything organised, and accessible on the go.

I just draw, sketch, plan out, and write stuff for whatever game I'm making on white printer paper and store it in vanilla folders.

Easy to carry!

I work as a cook(boo! free snacks!), but have been slowly working on a book of pin up illustration. I keep all of my refearence materials sorted into a fileing cabinet, and a couple bookshelves

My stuff is as unorganised as it could be possible be. I write everything down on paper and I tend to mix my all my notes from work, school and random stuff togheter.
