I hav'nt tried rapeplay but ive once tried out a h game called Disipline just to see what exatly they were about. All i found was the story aspects just pics of girls shown over one of a small number of generic looking backgounds. I found the sex scenes to be anything but sexy. Just pictures of sex poses with sounds of some women faking a orgasm (must be a intresting job). All the sex scenes had loads and loads of money shots, which always seemed to take up a large part of the sex scenes. I dont know if its a Jap thing as to why there was so much spunking over tits and faces or the reason they used em so much was that was the only action the devs could come up with. Anyway mild amusment turned to loaving when a fellow school boy got turned into a he-she (or she-he i always get mixed up)and u had to give him a BJ or something worse.

Love Plus is actually a pretty decent game (just imagine a tamagotchi taken to extreme levels) but the hype it receives is ridiculous. Although I'm impressed with the chap for making his point, I unfortunately don't entirely agree with the idealism. On my last tour of Japan my mate thought it would be funny to walk me into a store featuring racks of material of real kids in real photographs - no artistic fabrication I assure you. Although the covers of the DVD's and mooks were extremely suggestive rather than pornographic, I can only hazard a guess as to what was on the inside as I walked back out pretty sharpish.

Still, the point is an abundance of pornography to suit all tastes may well diminish the amount of sex crimes in a perfect world, but, as discussed here before, the amount of sex crime that actually occurs in Japan as opposed to the amount that ends up being reported probably fudges the stats a great deal. I'd warrant a guess that the actual figure (if you include a bit of molestation and abuse of minors rather than all out rape) is actually pretty high and will undoubtedly be encouraged by material available on the high street.
