I'm in the US, but I've used Deep Discount for many DVD orders over the past 6 years or so. They're very reputable, have good prices and looks like they ship internationally.

heavy liquid wrote: Agreed. I bought my Japanese 360 almost a year ago now, and haven't regretted it once.

I was able to play Bayonetta two or three months early and hopefully I'll be playing No More Heroes: Paradise in a couple weeks. So it's a good investment if you like any other Japanese games other than shmups, too.
This is basically what I was trying to say. I also played Bayonetta way early, will be playing Ketsui, NMH, Senko no Ronde DUO and DeathSmiles 2 in short order here. And I have about 6 other non-shmup games as well on top of all that I've already mentioned. There's a huge amount of great JP exclusive or early release games on 360.

And funny enough, I worked for Deep Discount for 2 years, and we did seem to get in a lot of the smaller profile games that often ended up not being easy to find, but I can't say much about shipping, since I live 30 minutes from the shipping warehouse in Itasca, IL, so it would always arrive quickly.

Stupid question time. Does Amazon charge you for preorders immediately, or when the item ships?

In the two and a half hours since you posted this, it went up to #53.

I'd like to preorder now, but I think I'm going to wait until I get my $10 preorder credit from Super Street Fighter IV first. This'll probably be the end of my preorder credit streak too...

Whoooooooo... #20 now. Take that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2! Quick, everyone buy 100 copies of the game so it's number 1 and Cave will bring Ketsui over!!!

Has anyone noticed that there's a RP rating on the box but a T rating on the actual disc? It seems odd to me.

MachineAres 1CC wrote:I'm starting to think CAVE fucked up the attitudes of whiny overseas fans who may have considered buying a J-360 to play some of their great games by releasing things unlocked and giving people the expectation that things would be like that as a norm, and then taking it away immediately after. People now act like the only way to play these games is to wait for them to be released in your region. .
in away i agree with you, since i dont have any 360 (thanks to having to blow all my cash on a new pc grrr) before cave released futari i was originally drawn to buying a Jap 360. But since cave realsed 2 RF titles but gave the US deathsmiles its placed me in a no mans land for which system to go for. As since for the most part im happy playing emulated or doujin shooters on my PC for the most part but i wanted (opviously if more are available ill buy more) 2-3 Cave shooters that i knew were 100% acurate if played on console. Its just that the 2 cave games i really wanted most of all were futari (i can play on a pal 360) and Deathsmiles (which wont be pal) So even though i would love to play DS (if we got ds instead of ESPg 2 it would be ccol) cos i dont want to play any other Jap only games except shmups, DS and possibly ketsui isnt enough to make me buy one. But im not getting what i want with a PAL system either, and the fact that DS is going US only is like a smack in face from Cave.

#17! We're ahead of Pokemon SoulSilver now! Next on overtake list: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for 360. If we can do that, 100% chance of more releases.

A preorder game is ahead of a bunch of games that have been out for months, go figure! On a site that doesn't sell many games! Big fucking deal!

how do these charts work? is it for the month, week or even the days pre-order purchases? (if its just for the day then even a high mark isnt too great imo)

I'm not to sure how the ranking system works to be honest, but I put in my pre order as well. I'd like to think I made a difference today :)

I'm sure it's going to be back in #200 or less in a couple weeks.

Still holding out on preordering it myself, but passed it along to a couple friends. It's low priority for me since I already own it + MBL...

Obviously, sales for this haven't already surpassed Modern Warfare 2 (think about it). And actually, if you go to "360 Best Sellers," you won't even see it on the list. The #15 rank is just for the hour. I hate to be the one to burst the bubble, as I want to see this game sell like hot cakes too.

it would be intresting to find out what the overall sales are for the us release as it would give some indication as to how many non importers there are, still most (propably all lol) of those with a jap version will buy a copy anyway

Yeah it would be interesting to see how well it would sell if they just sold the faceplate separately :D A vast majority of those who already own the JP version would not buy the game, since everything else in the package is pretty worthless besides the huge box looking kinda cool. That soundtrack CD is atrocious, they're all terrible remixes and obviously anyone who has the Japanese LE already has it anyway, with a much, much cooler cover art of the game to boot.

I own the JP LE and I'll be picking this up. I like the arrange CD too.

EH? i thought it was region locked. seems abit unfair to PAL owners if Cave dont get someone to release a PAL/ euro version sometime in the future. Great news for those in europe who bought an asian though

(no offence ment to JOW) that if its true and his not trolling know how mad some ppl would get.
