I'm probably going to buy this and use the faceplate. 50 bucks can't be beat!

People will probably think I'm an anime freak when they see the faceplate ... but whatever

Wow, can't say I'm terribly interested in the faceplate or anything. But for $50 I'll get it anyways. I wonder how much the standard edition will be, $30 maybe.

The way Aksys did it with BlazBlue was that once the initial LE print sold out, the regular edition was sold in its place at the same price as the LE.

Glad they finally made the announcement and whoever bid $150+ on that faceplate is going to get a negative feedback I would assume.

Sellers can't leave negative feedback (unless they relatively recently changed it back). But the buyer can.

Personally- I don't want to give anybody advice (I am bad at that)- but if I liked my eBay account I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to let an auction like that run it's course. A few things could happen-

1) Buyer pays, no problem (doesn't know about Aksys, doesn't care, etc)
2) Buyer pays, reverses the charge (not as described, damaged in shipping, etc)
3) Buyer doesn't pay, goes through hassle

only one of those ways doesn't take up time or cause stress. In the case of 2- if the buyer wanted to be a hassle, he/she could leave a negative (they technically *could* in the case of 3- but it could be reversed).

So yeah, waaaay too much typing and waaay too much eBay bias (I used to love that place as a seller, too!)

Where can I order cuz that is a damn good price and I so wanted that faceplate. I like to put that on my 360 when I play SHMUPS so that I might get an extra boost in my eye-hand coordination from the SHMUPS GODS!!! =P Just hope I can play the game on my Japanese XBOX360 though. =/

Iknew it. Damn I can imagine the face of the winning bidder
I am sold. Even if I own the japanese version I am going to buy it for 50$, it is almost a gift.

It's on the official Aksys website with the "not an April fools joke" next to the title so I think it is legit. Of course, saying it is "not an April joke" could be part of the joke. =P

There is an April Fool's Joke on the Aksys website, but it isn't this news. This is the joke:

Lol, that was a pointless question. I had my thread locked so I could come and post the question in here and just realised what the hell was happening.

Oh well, back the madness, I'll go and ask on another forum instead. :)

Gotta admit the guys have a sense of humor (and a bit less cruel than the japanese with their trailers of games that don't exist but look great and such). Oh, I mean for the April's Fool joke. As for the real L.E., nice! Could care less for the plate but the OST is a nice plus.

Nevermind, preorder where? Pretty please?

We've sent Amazon and Gamestop the stuff they need to add it to their system, so you should be able to pre-order from one--or both!--of them within a day or two. Sorry for the wait. :(

Look for preorders tomorrow.

I think that title would go to Atlus, but Aksys is slowly becoming one of my favorite publisher. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Ha ha, I'm mad hype for this release now, I'll probably buy it, keep the faceplate, and give the game to some Halo-playing noob and hope they get some culture

But yeah Aksys is bringing the goods, between this and BB:CS they're really the only American publisher I'm excited for right now. I'm hoping this is successful, because I'd love to see upcoming Cave ports, and any other shooters released on the system, get some international exposure and Aksys seems to know how to market their shit right, none of this mobile light force-style shit

Maybe if Atlus didn't burn a few random songs to a disc, put said disc in a slip case, call it the "OST" and make a limited edition out of some of their games (Persona 3 for example), I would as well.

If anyone doesn't want their faceplate, I'd be happy to buy it off you at a reasonable price.

Where was this posted? Is it confirmed that this is a prototype and not part of a larger run for the LE?

Also, will this at least run on Japanese consoles?

Well thanks to whoever is responsible for the lock. Now there is more time to get a JTAGed console , and never worry about regions ever .

Still waiting for the US release though to get the faceplate
