Don't know if it was mentioned earlier but Tokyo Gore Police should definately be on the list.

Watching Tokyo Gore Police in 480p or even 720p is a crazy blood squirting fest. Even the fake commercials shown throughout the flick have a horror gore theme going on. The only thing that could top it would be another sequel with crazier horror gore scenes/situations.

go watch samurai princess then. it was mentioned earlier somewhere in this thread. It's sorta like a spiritual sequel that just can't be as good as the original, sorta like what ibara is to batrider...just not the same, even though the same guy was behind both. so don't get your hopes up bro

edit: and by same guy I'm referring to both yagawa in reference to shooters and whatever the guys name is who was behind TGP and samurai princess

I don't know which to watch first, they both sound like they've some serious potential to suck in a good, bad, and sexual way...

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I just saw Hard Ticket to Hawaii. Wow is that movie nuts. Nothing makes sense, there are gratuitous tit shots every other scene, there are some very awkward, awesome, or hilarious one-liners, the acting is generally terrible, and there's a very fake-looking snake that made me laugh every time it was on camera. So much about this movie was bad, and so much was awesome, it was a wonderful mixture. I encourage people to see it!

I'm rather fond of Death Race 2000 and Buffalo '66 (although the later is really more of a weird movie than a bad one).

My brother made me watch Highlander II: The Quickening. I haven't seen the original, but this one was such an hilariously disjointed, badly told, cliched, trend-riding amazing disaster of a movie.. totally recommended for bad movie fans. Try and find the original VHS/Theatrical version which pretends that the Highlander came from a different planet, long ago (I guess this was edited out of later releases?).

I recommend Kei Hei Hup/Kung Fu Cyborg. It's a pretty good parody on various flicks of the last decade (Transformers, The Matrix Revolutions), with nice CGI and completely random humor throughout, by Kung Fu Hustle producer.

IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1494775/
Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_saGdBMw33E
No, no, no, this movie may be funny, but it is not by any means bad. It's actually one of the most interesting movies I've ever seen, with amazing claustrophobic atmosphere and special effects all made on a shoestring budget.

The trailer is awful, though, what's with all the spoilers and shit.

glad you liked it!! :D

ya...ive had robogeisha since the dvd released in japan, but havent watched it yet....no subs, and there is quite a bit of dialogue surprisingly....my basic verbal japanese understanding wont be able to keep up....oh well....couple weeks and the EU and NA dvd is dropping afaik so then i can get subs

it was the same thing with vg vs fg...i watched it without subs the first time as i had the japanese dvd....much less dialogue in that one though....

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but I watched The Gate on IFC last night. I haven't seen it since I was a kid. It was awesomely terrible, with some pretty good stop motion. There were some good scenes.

Yep, the stop-motion effects in "The Gate" flick are well done for it's time. It spawned a sequel known as The Gate II.
