id rather play Shienryu (if anyone has the pcb) which is simular gameplay style but a better challenge in my option plus i didn't get to complete it. reached the final stage boss (at local arcade before it got turned into gambling centre). Not sure if anyone here has looped it.
Yeah I have the Shienryu STV cart with board. It could be installed in Goodge - yes.

CHI - remember ZED BLADE.
No the STV version, the other shienryu that came out on sega saturn (there is a stage-1 & 2 replay on youtube) i think darm has got the board.

Called in today for the first time in ages - the place was empty... So DFK is the only cave love in there at the moment - how I miss those long autumn evenings of Deathsmiles MBL. Zed Blade looked unplayable because of the screen, shame, I wanted to give it a try.

Actually - I have SNK's MVS hori Prehistoric Isle 2 on the way through the post. Once I given it a go or two at home, I'd happily lend that for a while (and I still have 1944 to offer)...

We need Deathsmiles 2

I have Prehistoric Isle 2 also, but its a bit long and passenger-like to make ca$h in the arcade. The only interesting thing in it is the random scoring trick that Raiden Fighters 2 can perform.
Anyone with HORI suggestions is welcome...... :?: :!:

We need Deathsmiles or MBL back in there! I missed a cheap DS pcb on ebay last week - I'm keeping my eyes open. Prehistoric Isle 2 is good though. P-47 Aces anyone?

Fair enough - a good point. Also DEL - I hope your new avatar is a picture of your goodself. I haven't seen you for a while, so who knows!?

Do you have P-47 then durango76?

What would be our ultimate scoring-friendly hori that none of us have played too much?

The original R-Type would be good.

I used to have the P47 Aces board but sold it.

spadgy - No beard from me unfortunately. I got it from the current dubstep trend on youtube. Check out Downlink - Gamma Ray Burst and Flex Pavilion.

I don't think I'll be coming down for a little while but I'd be happy playing R-Type Leo, and get all annoyed when I get hit just before the end of the game.

Didn't take you for a dubstep man DEL - I thought it might be a bit slow!

I'd love to take Skykid up on his returning offer of Leo - where else will we play it? Skykid - I'd gladly take responsibility for the board. How could I aquire it from you? I'm never in B-town, but perhaps you'll be in the Big Smoke soon?

You might have to wait a few weeks now, but I'll definitely let you know when I'm visiting the city. Easter weekend is the next guaranteed date I can think ok.

R-Type Leo sounds like a best bet for you guys in that sit down hori cab.

Taylor - Just tell CHI to pull the DFK board out. He can arrange that with the engineer almost any night of the week.
Which leaves another question....the next Vert?

spadgy - RE: Dubstep - I caught a good track by Flux Pavilion on the radio the other night, which led me to Downlink and other dubstep artists on youtube. I like their stuff.
I also like a bit of the filth that they sometimes play on 99.3 select uk (they don't play much filth though, its mostly gentle House tunes).

Popped in tonight, played a little Progear and Raiden DX. Progears screen is awful, I mean really bad. Hope R-Type Leo will look better if it goes in there, oh and the stick seems a little dodgy too.

Progear screen still go nuts when it's black? That's really fun on the Final Boss...

I guess I could get Chi to take it out and collect it another time, but I'd rather be there and get it straight from the cabinet tbh.

Should be down this Thursday after work, hoping I can catch the engineer and remove DFK.

Hopefully you can get a nice replacement vert. Didn't you guys have Ketsui before? Not that I'm suggesting anything.

I've got Turbo Force and Zip Zing Zing PCB's through the post. Hardly DFK replacers, but I thought one could go in in Dogyuun's place? Turbo Force is an apparently great Video System developed game with flying cars in it! It's also credited as being the unofficial/official prelude to the Aero Fighters games...

Anybody interested?

I'm in on Thursday too, and I'm going to make it this time - it's been too long!
