Bought a non working Pink Sweets kit, now I wanna fix it...

Post by HenshinStorm2001 »

How would I go about trying to fix this sucker? I was told it had problems so I was ok with that.
A red light shows up on 2 places of the board but nothing comes up on screen.
HELP ME PLZ!!

I believe one of the members here has some knowledge of CAVE pcb's. Sorry i forgot his user name (might be RDC or RGC, not sure) There are some good board repair guys over at Neogeo.com forums (channelmaniac is one). Search the web there are experienced guys out there. Also not so sure on this but you may be able to send it to CAVE and have it repaired. Good luck

Well assuming you didn't pay much for a broken board, sending it to Cave and getting cleaned, fixed, and updated to the final bugfix code should be a no brainer.

You bought a board to fix but have no idea how to repair PCBs? I think there's a saying about certain kinds of people and their money...

check with member r-typer if he can help you maybe, he mended a few boards for me in the past, great guy to deal with.

altho sending the board to CAVE is definetly your best bet.
