I didn't need to hack the analog triggers, as there are 6 digital buttons on the 360 controller.

But what that about the DC triggers? Does it lag even if you solder directly to the Hall sensors like this (chip on far right):

I was about to do this.

hiya antron , unfortunately yes it does lag i read it on Shoryuken Forums. Some guys in a Thread over there did a test and came up with it , you may want to try a search there to confirm it. I would try and find the Thread but i cant get in atm as i changed my email address today and now the Forums are locked on me.....great

About the 360 Controller i thought it was 4 Button + 2 Triggers but did a Google Images search and found its 6 Button + 2 Triggers thanks for the clues antron i was a little in the dark there

Are we talking minuscule couple frame lag that couldn't be measured just by sight? I've done a couple hacked pads that involved triggers and haven't noticed lag, but that's completely subjective analysis.

I searched over ar SRK and found nothing concrete. one post claims it is noticable on some CvS2 moves (Zangief)
undamned made a post that he couldn't really notice it.

I'm going to go ahead and do mine, as I've already made the other connections.
If it exists at all I bet it's caused by the controller averaging the signal over time to reduce jitter.
