New Gradius in the works?

Not obscure no, but ask the average Western gamer if they have heard of Gradius/Nemesis and I have a feeling they probably won't have. Certainly none of my friends have, even the ones that consider themselves gamers. I just think that Gradius as a launch title for the PS3 Arc would be a bit of a strange choice, at least outside of Japan as I say.

Your right that it may be something outside of the traditional Gradius horizontal shooter. 3D STg wouldn't be unthinkable.

Calling it fake as well. Just posting those pics on AF's day and calling it 360 exclusive and not bothering to explain why it is on that particular platform is April's Fool. And why use a hiragana for the last letter of "arc" when the rest are katakana eludes me. I'm a nicovideo user as well, and I can't find the video either.
