Looking for non Japanese PS2 3D platform shmup games title..

Post by HeLGeN-X »

I forgot the name of this game, it was sort of like Sin and Punishment for PS2, it was an American company I think, and it had somewhat of a Russian theme if I remember...

Anybody know this game? It was pretty rare and known too but I just forgot the name, thanks!

Completely unlike S&P, but... The Red Star?
P.S. Intro unused in the final version.

In case nobody knows, this game is pretty good, I used to have it a while back, but my PS2 broke and couldn't play it for a while until now.

Peace!

It's a decent game indeed, although I've got a few reservations. Dodging bullets like that with an analogue stick just doesn't feel right after all those shmups (same goes for Neo Contra), and the Hollywood Doctor Zhivago cheese is downright cringeworthy à la NOLF2. For some reason western developers - bar the makers of Iron Storm for the PC - suck pretty badly in the Eastern Front department.

A fun game - especially in 2-player mode - and it's so cheap you really can't go wrong.
