But unlike the Gradius Full Speed vid, the Ajax video was generic and had NO gameplay videos in the song whatsoever.flux wrote:The 7keysTomtom wrote:I can't imagine what kind of patterns there would be for a song like this.
The Another
EDIT: There's also a song from Ajax called "Ajax (3way mix)"
The Salamander Beat Crush Mix is a crappy song if you ask me, you get a couple seconds of Salamander's volcano stage, and during this time, you'll think 'Dude, this is gonna be an awesome remix of Salamander!'
...Then the Salamander music ends, and a generic crappy rave tune is put in its place that sounds like nothing in anything Salamander, or even Gradius.
Avoid Beat Crush Mix like the plague, it's a HORRIBLE song.

YOU ARE APPROACHING THE TARGET OF ATTACK! THE MISSION STARTS NOW! ARE YOU READY?!
Keyboardmania 2nd and 3rd Mix have "Sensation from Salamander 2," which is a remix of the stage 2 music from Salamander 2. It's a very good song and I was shocked to find out that the original composer of the song was Naoki Maeda, the same person who did about half of the songs in DDR.
If only Naoki would go back to the way he was when he did the Salamander 2 soundtrack, instead of this somewhat unpolished J-Eurobeat that he's been putting out on IIDX lately.
By the way, if you have access to IIDX 10th or 11th Style in the arcade, play Gradius -Full Speed- and repeatedly scratch the turntable while playing.

YES! I have access to a RED machine and whenever the song's done playing, I randomly scratch the turntable all the time. Random Gradius sound effects at it's best!gs68 wrote: By the way, if you have access to IIDX 10th or 11th Style in the arcade, play Gradius -Full Speed- and repeatedly scratch the turntable while playing.
Or do you mean do it in the duration of the song in which case I have to turn on autoscratch?
