Well, after working tons overtime I seem to have the funds to pick this up now but just my luck, both play-asia and ncsx are sold out. Play-asia has "5-15 days" on the se version.. Ncsx just says "sold out"..

Anybody got any ideas where to find this in the states.?

You're pretty much SOL on the LE unless you get one secondhand, but NCS -should- be restocking the SE soon. Make sure you check the preorder shop, which they use for items not currently in stock.

Now just have to hide the money from the wife till then....

I ordered this from the main NCSX site and not the preorder site, and I'm slightly worried as to whether or not I'm going to have my order processed correctly. This is my first import order, so forgive me if this sounds newbie-ish. If it is coming, I certainly hope it arrives soon: the scoring system sounds way better than anything I've played yet, and the game doesn't look to be a joke 1cc wise.

Edit: cancelled, got Galuda 2 instead.

Where did you source the DLC card? I found a few sellers who had the original print run in stock for the SE, just curious if there are other places out there with the DLC card.

NCS got a very small shipment of the first pressing SEs about a month ago, and sold them at a premium. I'm sure you can also still source the DLC cards unused at Amazon.co.jp Marketplace and the like.

Ahhh, ok. I actually found two on Ebay after sending messages to every seller. One was at a premium and one was normal price.

Seriously, 1.01 is a motherfucker. The bullets start fast as hell and it all gets worse from there. Bombs don't do damage and the shot feels like a pea shooter.

How was the initial shipment recieved? Cave games are hard but this just seems sadistic. I suppose I've been spoilt by BL and 1.5.

So, does anyone have any final numbers on how much this sold? I only heard how much it sold when it first came out.

What about now?

Are there scans available of the artwork (instruction strip, pop etc)?

Couldn't find any for Espgaluda II either. I have seen some people selling PCBs with copy arts though.

The game doesn't seem to be asking me if I want to save a replay. I'm playing on Black Label Score Attack Original and I have 1cced it once. Are my game settings messed up or am I doing something wrong?

VGChartz has 13 week sales numbers. Looks like around 32,000 sold. http://www.vgchartz.com/swlaunch.php?ga ... X360[37735]

When you have entered you initials it will first ask if you want to save a replay and then if you want to submit your score to the leaderboards. If yes press A, if no press B.

Maybe you have to be connected to Live?

I am connected to live and it does ask if I want to save my initials. But it does not ask about my replay.

They're not completely unreliable. Historically there numbers are usually pretty close to NPD, though some times they need to be adjusted. Either way they're about the only source of info I could find for sales figures.

I believe there's a global option to turn of replay recording. Perhaps that's enabled?

If you can't read Japanese, wait for a dialog box that has リプレイ (ripurei) in it. That's the one you want to hit A on.

A question on which scores are permantly saved and which aren't: If I use the restart function during the play, the final score is listed in the (offline) highscore table, but not saved, so when I quit the game (or gamemode) and start over, it's deleted. Now I was just wondering if this is true for restarting on Stage 1 as well ??

Does this not have 2 sets of local score tables (like the other recent Cave 360 games)? Eg - 'Todays Scores' and 'All-Time High Scores'? Obviously, the Todays Scores won't be saved, if that's the case.

It has, yes. My question was about the "all time" high scores.

No, I'm playing normal mode. Restart isn't available in Score Attack mode. Has nobody ever restarted on the first level because of flying into some stupid bullet at some point ?

I think you aren't allowed to restart, even on the first stage.

I think that's the problem. I try not to restart full stop but if I must it doesn't take too much time to quit and then select mode again.

I'm sorry to ask a question that's probably been asked repeatedly

if I buy this without the 1.0 card, what am I missing out on? Can I get the DLC without the card somehow with my US xbox? Is it worth it?

Nope, you need the card in order to play 1.01. I wouldn't recommend it if you have issues with BL Original.

1:You're missing out on the original version of the game, which is punishing and exceedingly tough. It's not as refined but it does play quite differently from the revisions, making it a novelty for people who never got to play it and a nice diversion if you've played 1.5 and BL to death.

2: No, you need a card to get the content.

3: You've got plenty Futari available as it is, but it's your call.

ouch!

I got a hold of one of my friends traveling around Asia right now. Is there a way to spot the ones that'd have the card? I told him the predicament and hopefully he find one for me.

If not, I might have to walk away.

Hopefully Aksys will port this game.

There's two ways to identify whether it is the first pressing with DLC:
1) Look for a pink circular sticker on the shrink wrap.
2) Look at the product code on the spine.

NCS has a gallery that shows you exactly what to look for.
