Uhh, why would you want to play Ketsui in 1680x1050 with black borders and half of the screen unused, when you could hook it up to a tate'd 17" CRT with all of the screen being used? Ketsui on an LCD is going to look like a gigantic blurry pile of garbage.

I assume you mean a 17" VGA PC monitor, cause I know you're not touting the 360's 480i flickerfest.

Yeah, a CRT VGA monitor. There really is no comparison between my LCD and my CRT, the CRT is just better (for tate'd stuff).

I have used googlish translation and I might be wrong but It seems that the patch has been send once again to Microsoft with the problems solved that it previously had. So now it looks like that they're waiting for a new validation from Microsoft. So we will have to wait a bit longer.
I really hope to have translated it well :lol:

Uhh it's something like

Concerning the DOJBLEX patch, Microsoft rejected the submission because there was a major problem with it, which they pointed out to 5pb. They're still working with Microsoft to resolve the issue and they (STILL) need more time.

(note my japanese is terrible.. you should ask someone else...)

Thanks velocity7! I can't even read them and I hate achievements, but seeing them is enough for me to feel like Ketui is one step closer to reality.

As for the Blex-pachi, I've been giving the game a lot of time lately and can handle (have accepted) most of it's problems.

I believe JAPJAC's sig was something about 1cc'ing Ketsui "Back when it meant something" .. this was before Ketsui's port was thrown into limbo for over a year, though.

Other than the load times and menus, I wouldn't call DOJBLEX a "mess"... gameplay wise it's actually a lot closer to its PCB than the Espgaluda II port is >.>;

And after just about everyone in the HS thread had done it.

How many credits of ESPGaluda II PCB & DOJ BL PCB have you played, just for reference?
It looked pretty much like the arcade. Even the graphics where not HD. I wonder if they intend to release the game like this... at least it had a new mode and the loading times where fine this time.
DOJ BLEX & Ketsui X were both announced to have HD graphics. That was the first thing to hit the chopping block. The second was 5pb's integrity.

That looks like it's straight off of the arcade flyer, which is a surprise since flyers usually look pretty damn cool. Cave's character art is awful.
