Control question about PS1 Toaplan Shooting Battle 1....

Post by dave4shmups »

Is there a rapid-fire option for any of the 3 games on this disc?

All games have rapid fire available.

How are you planning to play it though? I thought I saw you talking about the PS-X-change disc in another thread, but that doesn't like this game.. :(

Really? Well thanks for that info, because I as far as I knew, the only system it didn't work on was the PS2.

Oh well, the NES port of Tiger Heli just plays a LOT better-seriously, I tried out the arcade version the other day on MAME, and your Helicopter is so SLOW it's friggin' ridiculous!

And the Genesis port of Twin Cobra is excellent, so between that and the technical info you just gave me, I'll pass on this collection.

Thanks for the FYI man! :D

There are downloadable import loading discs for the PS, they perhaps don't work on the PSONE though, not confirmed

Again this isn't really a strategy question but more a game feature question. Moving to Shmups Chat.

I have more game feature questions about this collection, so let's resurrect the thread!

-the video options are: normal (fixed yoko), Side and Arcade. However I can't distinguish between Side and Arcade. According to the manual Side should be wobble yoko, but when I select it I get the same as Arcade.

edit: OK, I got it. Side is tateyoko, there's no wobble mode in this collection (thank god).

-how do I save on memory card? the manual mentions this but I can't find a save option anywhere.
