Top Gear

Post by Zeether »

The best car show...........in the world.

I actually got into this because my dad was watching it on BBC America, then I came across the unedited BBC2 episodes and could not stop laughing sometimes. The cheap car challenges are a riot. Even if you aren't into cars this is a fantastic show for the cinematography and the presentation.

Aye truly a great show. I've been watching it since I stumbled across http://finalgear.com. Really glad the producers don't care about torrents of the show. Hell Andy even posts about Final Gear from time to time on the main TG UK site.

Top Gear is just all round family entertainment really. The fact that they hardly ever review your basic Ford or GM cracks me up. You always hear "And now we present to you the Lamborghini Gallardo" Like anyone can afford that car. Its always fun to see what they get up to as they appear like the 3 stooges belittling each other.

I think TG is like the BBC's top 3 exports, although lots of countries are still not getting it (Except for torrents).

The new Gran Turismo 5 will have the Stigs test track on it.. So you can time yourself against the "The Star in the reasonably priced car".

Yeah, I've always wanted an Atom after seeing that one. Stylish car and with a rollbar you can take it anywhere (except maybe into bushes or beds of spikes I suppose)...

I don't have any baby fat left like Mr. Clarkson, though. Though that's probably why I don't get to drive awesome cars like he does, and why people wouldn't want to listen to me talk about them... :)
