Game Title: Resonance of Fate (NA/EU) End of Eternity (JP)
Developer: Tri-Ace
Publisher:Sega
Release: March 16th 2010 (NA) March 26th 2010 (EU)
Anyone here going to be buying this? I got the Demo from the Japanese marketplace way back in December and I quite enjoyed the combat. I might buy this after I find out some more information about the full game. However my faith in Tri-Ace isn't exactly very high after "Star Ocean" last year.

I thought it was going to be a new Castlevania, from the name alone.
Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.
Re: Resonance of Fate (360/PS3)
Yeah, I'm "mildly" interested in this one since I played the PS3 demo and the battle system seemed decent enough to me. Will probably buy it too but I try to not expect too much about the rest of the game; there's one bit that bugs me a lot: how come I've never seen footage or screens of an ingame field/areas other than just combat, towns, and the strategic battle-map? I have a strong feeling this one will play a lot like a SRPG(story-combat-story).
Mind you, not that it would be a bad thing, it's just that back when the game got first announced I expected a more or less traditional RPG with fields and explorations etc. now I feel somewhat disappointed. Oh well, as long as the game is fun...

I'll be getting this. For some reason Tri-Ace games call out to me to be played over and over again even though they are usually filled with problems. Here's hoping they include 15 bonus dungeons of 160 floors each with 600 extra bosses to keep me busy for a few weeks

I'm keeping an eye on it, but I'll wait for reviews before I decide. I've really lost faith in Tri-Ace in recent years. They know how to make good battle systems, but they haven't released a game with quality story and characters since the original Valkyrie Profile a decade ago. Considering the number of RPGs I have in my collection now, a new JRPG has to hit all of the three major bases of story, characters and gameplay to get my attention. The horribly generic titles End of Eternity/Resonance of Fate this game has in various territories don't fill me with confidence.
