Well I stopped over at koas last night to pick up the network adapter. Idiot me didnt clean out the memory card and the exploit wouldnt transfer. Got that figured out and now I have a ps2 with dodonpachi, espgaluda, ibara, psyvariar and thunderforce. So we have a few more games to play.

Koa also said he was probably going to come.

(I left a wack of new 360 games there... forgot to put them in my bag as I left)

Im playing Ibara... and the bullet to background contrast is really quite difficult to get used too... I dont know if I like the game to much...

did you find the PPF patch files in the thread on this site?

then you just need something like ppf-o-matic to install them on the iso, transfer it back onto your HDD and you are golden

Well everything is a go for Saturday. I went out and bought a component cable for the ps2 and I must say, the games look a lot better, crisper and more colorful. The games seem to be displayed over the whole screen now too... and it also cleaned up some of the Ibara issues...

I hope you guys show up, there is going to be a lot of good games there. >:) (My arcade stick sucks though for my ps2, generic ps2 hori soul caliber stick..., so if somebody has one. Perhaps you can bring it)

As I understand, the Versus City cabinets have low res monitors in them, so it could be 480 interlaced, at best.

how do you do astral finishes?

The condition to do astral finish is to:
1) Make sure it's the final round (final as in you already have 1 win and you just need one more)
2) Opponent needs to have <20% HP left.

Regular supers costs 50% gauge, but Astrals cost 100% gauge. It's not really worth pulling off if your opponent has 20% HP left. It's all eye candy in the end IMO.

Ill be heading to the gym in about a half hour and ill be over about 2:30 or so.

I have been practicing on galuda, and my play is getting better, im really starting to react quicker to the bullet patterns and I am starting to see through the mess carving a nice pattern. Its kinda rewarding to be honest.

I wont be able to bring my 360 today though, my gf wants to finish darksiders. But I will still bring my arcade stick.
