Right - first off sorry that I haven't updarted this in a little while. A crazy week at work.

Next, having got back into Deathsmiles, playing all the stages at lvl 3 (no EX) I just managed this:

Cheers mate. I reckon I can score higher too, especially as my Mushi-F 1.5 got delayed and I suspect I might never get it. Plenty of time left to play Deathsmiles basically!

That pic is a shot of my new Sony PVM monitor, with my 360 running through component RGB (Not scart) to its BNC sockets. I haven't quite perfected the Xbox 360 image for Deathsmiles yet, unlike RFJ which looks lovely thanks to all the Scanline options. Deathsmiles looks great in places, but the sprites just flicker when they move.

But yeah, I'll be over on the Mushi-F Board real soon! See you there...

It is getting close! And of course you should go back. We could have a competition on here! I need to too, really, but right now Zed Blade and Xevious are keeping me busy. Maybe I'll give it another go!

Man, I love this game. I was able to get through the first three stages without getting hit, but always screw up the castle stage. Gotta play more, expecting the clear soon and maybe if I'm feeling insane the ex next.

I learned to get the ALL with everything on level 3 before learning the EX, and I've never got and EX ALL. I think I went about it the wrong way round, so you're probably right to learn the EX first (Unless you're already playing with every stage on level 3?).

EDIT: And sorry for the delay in updating. I've been out the country twice in just over a week, so forum access was a bit limited!

That's because you never went into Power Up mode... and didn't go to the Canyon. Assuming you're playing arcade mode, Power Up mode gives you an exponentially higher amount of points over normal mode or fever mode UNTIL Death Mode (IE suicide bullets being spawned). To make the no-Power Up mode be worth it, you need to start it right on the Canyon... and you need to no miss the Canyon & the Castle so your multiplier doesn't reset. If you die on either, you basically wasted it. It's very high risk high reward.
