the problem is that it's not and putting your opinions like that could make them a lot offensive than they need to be; or, hopefully, arePlasmo wrote:There is nothing like good design from an objective point of view, design is always something subjective. If I talk about how bad I think a design of a certain game is, it's already clear that it's just my opinion and that it apparently doesn't appeal to me. You don't have to put "Hey gayz, this is just an opinion. Don't you ever forget about it!!!!" under each and every post, the readers of your posts don't necessarily have to be retarded.
And of course it's possible to dislike Apple's design and say "Apple's design is horrible" and it would more or less equal to the sentence "I don't like Apple's design."

I hope so. I have it and enjoy punishing myself occasionally by breaking it out. It sure is a lot nastier than the other modes!emphatic wrote:Perhaps this will be unlocked after a couple of months?sjewkestheloon wrote:I just hope that someone finds a way to open up 1.01 for the people who didn't get it. I did a quick search but didn't find any conclusive answers to a potentially stupid question I have. On ebay, and elsewhere, Mushi Futari 1.5 is sometimes listed as playable Japan & Asian XBOX360 only, despite everyone saying its region free. Are there two versions? Or are these listings just mistaken?

Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (new thread)
They are mistaken. There is only one release of the game, it says it's NTSC-J and it is region free. My guess is they're just playing it safe.robthebanks wrote:I did a quick search but didn't find any conclusive answers to a potentially stupid question I have. So yeah, I was doing a deliberate kusoplay of 1.5 Original for the hell of it and I discovered a glitch. I'm not sure how, but I killed the stage 4 midboss quickly and it flew off the screen (to the right), never appeared again, then I heard the explosion and cry it normally makes once it dies.
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet, so I thought I would point it out.

Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (new thread)
I've seen it happen, too. A few times. Might just be a timing on the kill type of thing. Granted, it sucks if it happens because you won't get those gems. Funny though, fucker just zips off.
In other news, I won't be putting too much time into the game in the next few weeks because my convertor stopped functioning, so I can't use my stick. I am sad. I think I'll try to get an Original score on the leaderboards anyhow, with the regular controller. But... the game is really damn fun with a stick.

So how did that happen? Hopefully it's just a loose quick disconnect and not the actual microswitch itself.KidQuaalude wrote:Wont be playing much futari for a bit, broke my effing joystick! The 'right' microswitch crapped out in the middle of a game.Bah!
Also speaking of weird bugs: I don't know whether or not this is a bug with the game or the console itself, but when I paused the game, browsed some friends/achievements, and then returned to the game it ran super choppy to the point that it was unplayable. It was almost as if the guide menu didn't close properly or something. Thankfully, this only happened to me once and a restart fixed it.

That happened to me but slowed down to the point of making everything really easy. I ran to the end of the stage spinning around usually speeding bullets and then crashed into the boss repeatedly to get it over with. After loading again it was fine.Schrodinger's cat wrote:So how did that happen? It definately happened as a result of pressing the guide button mid game.
I've also had the bug on Novice Ultra where the TLB dies and continues to spray out patterns until the screen fades. Was quite a shock.

Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (new thread)
Got the 1CC on 1.5 Original last night. I finally got kind of bored with Black Label and decided to give the main game a go. Fairly crappy score had me coasting in at 194m with a life left over. First "real" 1CC of 2010 for me. I think I might try to do it with Palm just for the achievement before moving on to Maniac.

Just 1CC'd 1.5. I didn't see that coming, since my game has been pretty off because I was screwing around with BL too much.

Wow, you 1cc'd every 1.5 mode at the same time? That's pretty impressive.evil_ash_xero wrote:Just 1CC'd 1.5. I didn't see that coming, since my game has been pretty off because I was screwing around with BL too much.

Ah, let me be more specific. 1.5 Original with Abnormal Palm.Udderdude wrote:Wow, you 1cc'd every 1.5 mode at the same time? That's pretty impressive.evil_ash_xero wrote:Just 1CC'd 1.5. I didn't see that coming, since my game has been pretty off because I was screwing around with BL too much.

Nice job! I also used AB Palm for 1.5 Original, now get on to the really crazy shit with Maniac. You might want to switch to Normal Reco for that.

I'll give it a go. I have only 1CC'd two Cave games. DeathSmiles MBL, and this(I also 1CC'd BL, but it was kinda easy, so I don't really count it). I know these are the easier Cave games, but I felt pretty good about it. If only that damn boss at the end of ESPGaluda wasn't so tough!

Impressive indeed. I can't use Abnormal Palm because I use a controller, and he just moves too damn fast for those dense patterns.evil_ash_xero wrote:Ah, let me be more specific. 1.5 Original with Abnormal Palm.Udderdude wrote:Wow, you 1cc'd every 1.5 mode at the same time? Re: Xbox 360: Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 (new thread)
Here's another bug/glitch I don't think has been mentioned, it's been several times now (especially today) that I've had my control input get "stuck" during movement. As in, when the analog stick goes back to a centered position, it still keeps the last input (e.g. going right) until it's moved away from the center again. It's immensely annoying as it usually ends into me crashing straight into a bullet before I'm able to unstuck it. Maybe it's just my controller that's crapping out?

Yeah I purchased BL and got the Freezes, they don't really mess me up but I obviously would prefer to not have them.
Yeah, that is your controller dude... one of mine would do something similar.. I would push left then after I let go of left my character would move another inch before stopping.

If you restart the game it usually fixes the movement issue.

make sure there isn't anything "going on" while you are playing the game, i have never had any freezes with it but i had left a download going in the background the one day and the game would frequently stutter and it stopped immediately after the download was done

I never had the problem until I downloaded BL, and then I only had it once. I had music playing from the HDD and it stuttered, so I turned it off. It is, almost without a doubt, directly related to what shit you have running in the background.

well, i dont have anything running in background, except i am connected to xbox live. perhaps i should disconnect.
EDIT : Well, i pulled the wireless thingy out of the back of my 360, this solved the problem of screen freezes.. dunno why it shouldnt work with this plugged in though, still a large bug IMO

When you're connected to XBL, things like notifications of the activities of "friends" and such shit can also do it.
On a side note,
Why am I already sick of playing this game :( I mean, whenever I actually start playing it, I kind of enjoy it, but whenever I THINK about playing it I can't stomach the thought. I still want to clear Maniac, so I guess I'd better keep on truckin', huh.
