Looms for new astros

Post by neorichieb1971 »

I need to change my joysticks to JST, so I need to replace the looms in the new astros I have.

Are these suitable plug and play -

Thanks for any info.

Can nobody tell me if the naomi and astro cabinets share the same pinouts for the looms?

Pretty please.

just undo the sheath casing on the loom and snip the necessary lines in side that and splice.....seal back up the casing and you are done....modded to the 5pin connector and the splice is hidden

its what i did on my astros to go with LS-32-01's....

I believe all Naomi and Astro cabs use the same pinouts for the control panel connector, its all Sega. As for compatibility with the different pin stick configs, as Johnny says, its pretty simple to splice the wires, or even just extract the pins with a small eyeglass screwdriver and move around. I had to do this for some chinese JLF knockoff sticks I once had that didn't have the same pinout.
