Hori Premium VLX

Post by spadgy »

Wow! This looks pretty sick. It just went up on our old friend Play Asia.

Image

No details yet, except that theres a 360 and PS3 one, and it's out March 28th this year. Looks a bit Vewlix.

Here's the Play Asia link.

28,572 yen. I don't know how in the world they can justify that price. That's an XRGB-3 right there.

thats most likely an official vewlix control panel. as in, the exact same one on the arcade cabinets. akihabarashop has the two player panel, populated with sanwa parts, for a cool 29,290 yen. so the price kinda makes sense, but most sane people would be better served with a TE stick.

 I'd had three hours sleep thanks to a plane flight at a silly early time. I'll blame that for this time's spadgy stupidity.

Wow - that is a steep price. Sadly I couldn't even fit this in my flat!

that is certainly one heck of a unnecessary luxury item in these harsh times. nice though.

The colour scheme is awful. I think it would have been better if it were all white, like the PS3 one. Anyway, you're better off getting a PS2 compatible HRAP and buying adapters for PS3/360/Wii/etc so you're not restricted to just the 360 and PC like this one is.

This stick is quite nice, but it's 1) for PS3 and 2) all Sanwa.

I go for having a fuck-ton of different sticks store in an unruly pile and knock them all over the floor each time I get one out. It's a lag-free solution.

I can immediately think of 3 converters which have next to no lag and work for Wii, PS3 and 360. So.. okay?

Yeah. I was only messing around mate. I know there's some very decent lag free converters. I was just being a silly dickhead; something I excel at.

Nice object, expensive box ... I would prefer an egret one ... going off the idea of colored buttons...
