Not sure it'll work, the battery holder terminals have a peculiar shape, you might end up breaking them. The first time I installed a battery holder I widened the hole by drilling it. I managed to do it but I realized I could have destroyed the soldering area around the hole, so the next time I used that saw. Using the saw you can control the blade movement better, it's like filing the hole. I recommend only this method.

Norway is kind of lacking in the electronic shops department, thanks for your suggestions but what do you think about this product: 667-TL5101S ?
It's a dedicated memory backup battery, which is exactly what we are looking for.
RS have a Norwegian site too (http://www.rsonline.no/) and appear to have the holder (search for Keystone then look down the list for 1/2AA holder), no doubt then they'll also have batteries too. Only problem is they likely have a minimum order (around €30 iirc).

A bigger problem is that they don't have the snap-on cover which keeps the battery firmly in its place (you don't want it to fall off the holder do you?). I've bought the holders from RS myself but when I found out about the covers I ordered them from Mouser, they have no minimum order and $12 worldwide shipping on orders under 4 pounds.

I know, sadly RS do not deal with non company orders. Besides I have ordered the holders and retainers from mouser and the price I pay is way below what RS charge
