I hope Backbone has nothing to do with RSHD, having seen what they did with R-Type Dimensions (no custom controls) and SIE (no custom controls + fucked up proportions + no ranking mode + no stage select).

It had location tests in jap arcades like HEY since last summer, dunno how many operators decided to plunk it in their game centers afterwards though. And the PC version has been out for ages for the rest of us.

I second that, where the hell is Raystorm! Whats weird is no official confirmed date or info on the net regarding this as well.

Someone had mentioned to me early this week that raystorm was coming out. I was pretty happy to hear that and then pretty disappointed when it wasn't announced. It won't be until atleast april and that's just a hunch with march being block party month.
